I’m trying something new; posting more frequently. Shorter posts, random thoughts of the day. I have been hesitant to publish a lot on Mastodon, mostly because of the commitment to a specific server that will host my content. As the posts themselves are not transferrable to a different server, there is a lot of lock-in and I don’t feel comfortable with that thought.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I have tried a few approaches over the years. Building my own microblog software. Running my own instance of Mastodon on a Raspberry Pi. Looking into other Fediverse platforms. Since I have no definite solution, I’m doing it the Louie Mantia way \u2013 publish on the site I already have (not plain HTMl\/CSS, but you get the point.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
