@sad_but_awesome denke die meisten werden eher Taxi Driver die Krone geben. Der Machinist ist einfach underrated – so wie du ?
@MacPaw Anytime! Thanks for taking the time to reply. As I said, I think it could be a good feature, especially since the same functionality already exists in Gemini 2 today (for HFS+ volumes, using hard links) Keep up the good work!
@MacPaw For now I went with the solution mentioned here, which uses the Jdupes command line program https://t.co/7VzprBKfJQ It did quite well and recovered me some 5GB. Could be a useful feature to add to Gemini as well, since hard links are not supported on APFS any more I think.
@MacPaw I'm sorry if this wasn't clear! I'm looking for a way to save space not by trashing, but replacing duplicates with APFS clones. As the feature in Gemini prefs calls them hard links, I assumed that didn't work with APFS. I tested, and it moved to trash instead of creating a clone.
@MacPaw Is there a way to replace duplicates with APFS clones instead of deleting? The (presumably HFS+) feature to replace with hard links didn't do it for me.
@DanHollick Amazing read. Thank you for sharing! Your more recent posts about DNS, Hex/RGB and color contrast as well. Will all mention them this coming semester in my web design class, with attribution.
@jennrichter It seems you fixed it. Thanks and best regards!
I faithfully recreated the #Magnum 7 Deadly Sins flavors a) in order to preserve history and b) to compel @Unilever @Langnese_DE to bring them back for the 20th anniversary! The internet was young then and all that's left is low-res pictures. "For none now live who remember it." https://t.co/izDesYO5oa
